1984 Volkswagen Cabrio Karmen review from North America
"Excellent car! if you know how to take care of Volkswagens"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing that doesn't happen anyways with time.
Surprisingly does not leak oil
Many switches and fuses have gone bust, but nothing that isn't inevitable.
It all depends on the owner.
General comments?
Over all an incredible car
extremely fun and comfortable to drive
many comments on the car
owner MUST know how to take care of a car, otherwise your Volkswagen will not love you.
Very easy car to take care of, IE: not many little things to wrong because it does not have the options.
No cruise control
no power steering in some
no fancy little nonsense controls (to break down)
a very good down to earth car, if taken care of and protected from the elements could possible last you as long as you want it to.
Parts are fairly easy to find, a little costly, but its worth it.
I never want to part with my cabriolet.
