2006 Suzuki Verona review from North America
"I compare it to a sexy swimsuit model that needs triple bypass surgery"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
From day one Low/High idle at cold starts, sputtering until the engine is completely warmed up. Repeated trips to the dealer who states time after time unless the Check Engine light is on when I arrive there is nothing they can do about the cold starts – the car holds no useful diagnostic information for the dealer to find the problem and resolve it. The car tries to stall even at high speeds until it’s completely warmed up. Very poor acceleration, I wasn’t expecting it to be a Mercedes, but I was expecting reliable transportation at a reasonable price. The price was right however the car was a huge mistake.
General comments?
The exterior and interior features are just what I expected the performance on the other hand and the reliability stinks. It’s definitely a sheep in wolfs clothing.
