1995 Ford Explorer XLT - but loaded! review from North America
"Wonderful SUV!!!!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing really... small problems when going up hills for long distances, it gives a "Check Engine" light, but Ford says it is a bad EGR valve. Had the valve replaced, but it continues to happen.
Keyless entry not as responsive as when we bought it, possibly needs a new battery in the remote?
Ford also failed to clean the air filters when we had it in for routine work. We no longer take it there.
General comments?
Wonderful vehicle. Totally loaded XLT - leather, moonroof, dual power seats, 6 disc CD changer, keyless entry (key fobs and keypad on the side of the drivers door), 4 wheel disc ABS.
Wonderful vehicle... plenty of power out of the 4.0L V6.
