1998 Oldsmobile Alero GLS review from North America

What things have gone wrong with the car?
Lower intake gasket at 50,000 miles.
Rack and pinnion at 50,000 miles.
Lower sway bar links and bushings at 50,000 miles.
Water pump at 50,000 miles.
Trunk vent seal broke, over a gallon of water in trunk.
Dome light fell out of place. @ 50,000 miles.
All covered under dealerships warranty, idk why I still bought it.
Right and left wheel berrings at 83,000 miles.
ANOTHER WATER PUMP AT 84,000 miles.
ANOTHER RACK AND PINNION AT 93,000 miles!!!
Service engine soon light, Low trac, and Anti lock brake lights go on and off since around 93K.
The car has always had clunking noises in the front end and it has never been right since day one. Yeah about that clean carfax report? total BS there is not one side of the car that has never been smashed. Carfax doesn't mean anything at ALL!
General comments?
I love my alero, the way it looks, drives and, how comfortable it is. I think it's a great value and has every option I would want on any vehicle. Though I would never buy one ever again. I actually don't think I would buy another GM vehicle ever again personally. Mechanically the Alero was poorly made in the quality and workmanship of its parts.
