1990 Honda Accord EX review from North America
"GREAT CAR"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I did not have the car for long, but it was because it was totaled in an accident that was not my fault. When I first got the car the interior needed very few adjustments. The suspension was very low and tight so I went ahead and replaced the front struts. Also the valve cover gasket melted out at 157K (which was only about 20 bucks to replace if you do it yourself). At about 165K the drive axle had to be replaced. After that it was a perfect ride. One minor problem it had was that when it was started it would rev to about 2000 RPMs and back to about 1000 constantly. I never figured out what that problem was. Performance wise it was not that bad even though it was not built for high and fast performance. Over all GREAT CAR if you take care of it.
General comments?
Honda's are seen on the road more than any other car. There fuel efficient and very reliable. The used ones don't sit on an auction or dealer lot for long. They are perfect for a first time owner. I will very much miss my old one.
