1983 Datsun 280ZX review from North America
"Fun, fast and forever!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
This car had sat in a garage for several years when I got it.
Rear mirror fell off in head.
Wiper motor and linkage replaced.
Steering column makes great thunks with sharp turns.
Cruise control died.
Rear defroster does not work (issue with window).
Rear side window fell prey to a golf ball.
A lot of knobs needed to be replaced.
Dashboard is cracked in several places.
Drivers side T-top is coming apart.
Rear carpet is beat to heck.
But it is fun to fix up and just super on the freeway here in DC.
General comments?
Most fun car I have owned. It has the quickness to make DC driving a breeze. It looks good. I always get comments from folks about how they wish they hadn't sold theirs years ago. A classy, classic car!
