1998 Volkswagen Jetta Wolfsburg edition review from North America
"This car is a great drive and is quite fun and sporty. only a few minor issues"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The rear passenger side window motor burned up.
The starter is loose and sometimes switches off the lights from not being over all the way.
The muffler is tightened completely from a mechanic and makes very odd rattling sounds.
The weather stripping around the whip back antenna, and sunroof are dry rotting out of age.
The alarm occasionally goes off randomly, fixed with new fuses.
The door bumpers started to come off.
Stock stereo goes up when I go to turn down.
General comments?
The Jetta is an amazing car, it handles very well.
Never any big issues such as transmission and such.
Only minor annoyance things such as old age wear and tear.
GREAT gas millage for a non diesel.
Fun relaxing car.
EASY to drive.
Stock speakers are quite nice.
Stereo glitches.
Items become worn and torn after 9 years.
