2003 Ford Transit T280 100 review from UK and Ireland
"Comfortable, but poor fuel economy"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Gearbox selector bearing, clutch 58,000 miles.
General comments?
This van is a very comfortable drive, much better than the Berlingo I had before.
Comforts are, electric windows, mirrors, central locking, and CD player, which all still work fine.
Fuel economy is not very good; the best I got was 600 miles on a full tank driving carefully at 60 mph. Normal runarounds get around 25 - 30 gallon.
The engine always starts first time and is the most reliable. Best top speed 102 mph.
Body work dents easily.
