2002 Acura MDX review from North America
"Acura MDX DEFECTIVE TRANSMISSIONS"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I have a 2002 Acura MDX that I take very good care of. Several times while driving in 90 degree heat in Los Angeles or going uphill to Palm Springs the transmission has overheated. The light comes on and then the engine beings to "shut off" and my car won't go above 35 mph. I brought it to the Acura Dealer in Carlsbad, California (San Diego) and they pretended not to know anything about transmission problems in the MDX. Now I am reading a bunch of posts here! There should be a class action suit against ACURA for these defective transmissions! My car cost $43,000! This is unexcusable!
