2001 Isuzu Rodeo LS review from North America
"The Isuzu Rodeo should have never been made"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Today I learned the englne's crankshaft blew after taking it to a dealership. I took it to the dealership after a mechanic at another repair facility told me that oil was leaking in a piston.
General comments?
I owned this car for less than 7 months. During that period, I had to replace the ABS module, the exhaust system and installed new struts. The rear windshield wiper no longer works and the lock to the rear hatch is busted.
Now the engine is gone and has to be replaced. Thankfully, I bought an extended warranty when I purchased the car. However, I don't know how much it will cover the cost of a new engine.
With this car, I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop. It seems this car is just falling part, and it will be just a money pit unless I can get rid of it.
