2003 Jaguar XJ8 V8 Sport Auto review from UK and Ireland

Windscreen Wiper Linkage replaced due to wear.

I think possibly the previous owner had perhaps turned on the Wipers when they were frozen to the screen or left them running when the rain had stopped.

The car is an absolute pleasure to drive and is exceptionally adept on all kinds of roads from bumpy country lanes to fast traveling on Motorways. The passenger cabin is super quiet and a pleasure to be in. Long journeys are a doddle in this car as it smoothly & quietly eats away the miles.

The 4.2 V8 engine is as smooth as silk and very responsive through the gears, the car accelerates very swiftly when needed. The power is truly breathtaking!

The LCD screen in the centre console gives clear and easy to understand information to the driver and is very easy to operate. It incorporates control of the passenger cabin air conditioning, Radio, CD Changer, In car telephone & The Satnav system.

The seats are comfortable for all the passengers and Jaguar have solved the rear legroom problems of the earlier model XJ's with this new lighter all Aluminium version.

This new XJ is a credit to Jaguar for it's excellent build quality and striking design "it turned a few heads when I took it onto the continent this summer and drove it down through France and into Spain" but took on the long journey with out any effort at all.
