2007 Ford Freestyle LIMITED review from North America
"It's a good comfortable car/crossover!!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Thus far I have not had any reason to do any repairs. I have noticed the CD player skip a few times, only on the #3 slot.
Keeping an eye on my rear brakes given the recall, but its too early to take it in yet given my low miles.
I wish it had a reasonable priced body molding available from Ford to prevent car door dings (I did get one off the internet that looks good, but its made out of fiberglass and chips when struck by another door).
General comments?
I got the car to actually replace two vehicles, F150 and Chevy conversion van. My wife who is disabled (does not drive) found it hard to climb in the van and the pickup didn't have the room we needed for the kids. This vehicle has the room and comfort, especially for my wife. Its easy to get her wheel chair or other large items in and out of the back. The seat height is perfect and the heated seats are also appreciated.
We only have the seating for six. The additional controls for heat/ac in the rear is also a plus. I tend to like it cooler than most of the family.
I do a combination of driving and get ~23 mpg on a regular basis. The distance is 8 miles city and 10 highway.
