2001 Proton Waja review from Malaysia
"Not worth it"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
First time I saw the car, I was attracted to buy it. It was still in good condition 21000 km after 5 years owned by its first owner.
However after 5 months, my seat adjuster got spoiled. Then the radio controller on the steering was broken. Then the wiper controller "tercabut" haiya... what could be next?
Now, the halogen bulb is always blown. 1 to 2 months after I have to change new bulb, you know how much that cost me... I did asked a mechanic to fix it, but the remarks werw frustrating, it often happens to Wajas, can't do anything. What to do, I have to bear the cost.
My power steering also not in good condition, I didn't fix it yet, it costs too much, almost RM2000.
I wish I didn't change my old Kancil; it was never this much trouble...
