General comments?
I have two Blazers, a 2000 4wd and a 2002 2wd. There is nothing good about either of these vehicles. Nothing. Chevy dropped the ball.
I've replaced more parts than I can count. The 02 has around 90000 on it, and I'm still paying it off, and is on its 2nd wheel bearing replacement.
The 2000 is plagued, and the 02 sits in the garage for the last year with its hood up and no battery, because I don't have 1000 dollars to fix it. It's a piece of junk. I'm thinking about letting the bank repo it, it's gotten so bad.
I will never buy another American car again, ever. I got a 97 Nissan Altima with 125000 miles on it, and it runs like new. I've taken it cross country many times and it now has 230000 miles on it, and I have bought nothing for it, but gas and oil. That's all the proof I need.
