2002 Volkswagen Jetta GLS review from North America

A week after I got my Jetta, its #2 coil burnt out. You'll know if a coil blew when your car starts to skip and jerk while driving. I replaced this with my own money. It was only 60$. You can do it yourself, its simple. Two days later #4 and #3 coil also blew out. My dad got the dealership to replace these for free. About the same time #4 and #3 blew out, the dipstick "holder", if you will, broke. These get extremely brittle and become about the same as that of an eggshell. The dealer also replaced the holder.

Now, two weeks later, my car is over heating every other day. It has plenty of engine coolant in it. So I do not know what the deal is. I am an idiot and put coolant in what I thought was the radiator. Come to find out it was the power steering fluid. VWs take special steering fluid and they cost about 20-25$ a bottle. You need about 4 bottles to drain the coolant IF you ever do something as dumb as I did.

The car its self did not come with an owners Manuel and I have tried to find a "down loadable" one off google, but I have failed. I just need to find out what spark plugs go to what. We believe the fans are not working now and that is hopefully my problem.

Where can I go to find a owner's manual offline, that I don't have to order/buy?

This car is really quick and drives smooth. The radio still has not given me any problems like it has given other people. Nor the window, brake lights, engine light, passenger air bag, etc.

However I have had more problems with this car in the past month than I have had with any other cars in the past 3 years. Luckily for me, it was only little inexpensive things.
