2001 Chevrolet Blazer LS 4X4 review from North America
"It should be yellow and juicy (LEMON)!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I wish I would have found this web site before I purchased this vehicle. One week after I bought the vehicle I had to have a front wheel bearing replaced. One week later the other side. Of course it was not covered by warranty. I then had to have brakes all the way around (rotors, calipers, and pads). Yep you guessed it, not covered under warranty. I also had to have the front/passenger side seat-belt replaced, it would not detract/retract. Other known problems I know of on my own or by the dealership: It needs upper/lower ball joints (both sides), drivers door doesn't close right (pins are shot), fuel gage problem (bouncing gage), never know how much gas I actually have in it, passenger window works when it wants to, check engine light on (O2 sensors replaced), front end alignment (still got the vibration), now the transmission is shot (will cost between $1400-$1600 to overhaul), Of course NO Warranty!! One other problem, the front shocks are about shot I think we should all get together and file a class action suit against GM.
General comments?
This vehicle rides like a tank!! I used to have a mini van that rode better. The vehicle feels very heavy and not smooth.
