1980 Chevrolet Monte Carlo review from North America
"I was like good lovin'!!!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The only problem that I had with my Monte Carlo, was the leakage of oil, and the costly amount of money I had to pay on the timing chain. But, for the most part... I have no other complaints about this vehicle.
General comments?
This was the first brand new car that I purchased. As a 20 year old I was very pleased with it.
It was well equipped for an 80 Monte. It had power windows, power door locks, power driver seat, am-fm stereo cassette, bucket seats, floor mounted shifter, and many more options not usually found on Monte Carlo's of this era.
The 3.8 V6 was smooth and quiet. It was classy and efficient enough for me!!! That... I can appreciate about my Monte Carlo.
Overall I was very satisfied with this car and it's performance. I've been a Chevy fan ever since.
