1994 Ford Taurus GL review from North America
"That is a good family car and reliable"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I just changed water pump twice and some minor repairs just in case.
General comments?
My Taurus was a very reliable car. I traveled almost 30000 KM all around Canada with this car having no problem at all, despite the high mileage. It's quite roomy in both back and front and very good riding. The engine quite impressed me, since I opened the hood for inspection just a few times during five years that I owned this car. I just filled the tank, and drove. The interior design is good, too. All the keys and buttons you need while driving are handy and you don't need to look around to find a button. Only the cup holder is placed in a bad location as it blocks radio when you put a cup in it. The heater and air condition is excellent. I never had a problem with heating in the harsh winter of Canada and/or cooling on hot summer days. I enjoyed driving this car on the road in my trips all over Canada. The trunk is quite roomy and you can put a great deal of stuff inside the trunk. A friend of mine bought a used 1996 Taurus and I realized that 1994 model was much better and more comfortable than that.
