1994 Mazda MX6 LX review from North America
"This car is a great bargain"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Not much other than routine maintenance. This electrical
switch to the driver's side window needed to be replaced
at 130000 miles. Alternator at 116000 miles, a couple O2 sensors at 130000. repaired leather of back rest on driver's side seat. all in all, not bad for a 14 year old car. Especially without out knowing the maintenance history.
General comments?
Very comfortable and fun car to drive without giving up reliability or economy. The little 2.5 liter V6 has great zip to it. A great looking car, too. They're more difficult to find performance parts for than other imports, but they don't need too much to make them fast. There's no CARB approved headers and no really good CARB approved intakes available. It you're interested it going a little faster, you only really need is a light flywheel, performance springs, and urethane mounts to
have a lot more fun. I have yet to find a nicer looking
car and in 2007 I still get plenty of compliments.
