2003 Hyundai Santa Fe review from UK and Ireland
"Thirsty and Slow-An Iron Horse with a DRINKING PROBLEM"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
No.Apart from the obvious-the car was an iron horse with a DRINKING PROBLEM.
General comments?
Biggest problem was the performance lag. No power when taking off from lights or roundabouts. I would sometimes be afraid to take the chance of trying to overtake a car. It was a 2.0 Petrol, but smaller cars would outrun it. Ferraris' go 0-60 in 4 seconds, my santa fe went 0-60 in 4 minutes.
Also there was the ferocious thirstiness of the engine.
The fuel gauge/needle was the fastest moving thing in he car. I wouldn't mind paying for the petrol if the ride was comfortable and fast, but I felt every bump in the road.
When I tryed to sell it I had to drop the price by €5000 and was waiting to sell it for 6 months. When I did sell it I was happy to see the back of it. Never Again.
