1997 Jaguar Vanden Plas review from North America
"Gorgeous, reliable, comfortable car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Front driver seat has shown wear from previous owner, as have front floor rugs.
General comments?
This is a beautiful vehicle.
I have had no mechanical problems with it.
I keep it in tip top shape, with regular inspections and maintenance.
I have been driving this car all over the US, from California to the east coast to Florida back to California, and it has been fabulous.
No problems, even in the Rockies!
The comfort cannot be overstated, nor can all the bells and whistles, which all still work.
Highly recommended.
The mileage is not bad,
with a V6 instead of an 8.
Can't wait till Jaguar comes out with a hybrid!
