1996 Jeep Cherokee sport review from Australia and New Zealand
"..."
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Faulty oil pressure gage $500 to fix.
Faulty computer twice $2000.
4wd affected steering $500.
General comments?
Although the few faults the jeep has had it has always remained a perfect city SUV, especially considering mine
looks much more rare than others (chrome extras, u.s. factory alloys etc) and looks almost brand new it always attracts plenty of attention and definitely fits into more posh areas. The jeep has got 1 of the most comfortable interiors I have ever been in especially considering I've been in some very expensive cars in my time
and drives just like like a sports car, high acceleration and speed, very good braking and excellent handling.
Definitely an ideal SUV for a family-car, 4wding or just plain old city driving...
