1999 Chevrolet Malibu LS review from North America
"Great comfy car, but low gas mileage"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Brake pipe was damaged over time at around 90000 miles. Cost was around 400 because pipes for Malibu LS's aren't made any more so they had to make a custom pipe.
Engine was making funny noises at 100000 miles and I needed a new piece of tubing. The cost was less than 30 bucks to replace.
General comments?
All in all a great car, but because of high fuel costs it doesn't get a lot of gas mileage like it used to do. I've had to replace all 4 tires over time and other than that I am fairly happy with it. A great car, you just need to keep up with oil changes etc.
