2003 Nissan Maxima SE review from North America

"One crappy Maxima"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Front struts failed and had to be replaced five times.

Transmission slip-ping from 1st to 2nd gear.

Faulty hood stay had to be replaced.

Rear springs had to be replaced due to squeaking noises.

Leaking gas canister and faulty vent control valve needed replacing.

Under carriage sub frame needed replacing due to corrosion.

Sky light needed to be replaced due to improper curing of glass.

Shifter plate loose and needed to be replaced.

Axle boot leaking and needed to be replaced.

Rear sway bars needed to be replaced due to squeaking noise.

Stabilizer bar bushings coming out of bracket and needed to be replaced.

Fog lights blown out three times and needed to be replaced.

Exhaust heat shield removed and never replaced due to rattling noise.

Rear shocks replaced due to leaking.

Muffler bracket replaced due to corrosion.

Kick plate loose and damaged - needed to be replaced.

With this Maxima I could have opened a LEMONade stand!!!

General comments?

A great look in and out. That's about all. The 2004 Nissan Maxima is a piece of crap that needs to be shredded and scrapped. Mechanically in decline. Rest in HELL!!! A waste of hard earned money.
