"Buyer BEWARE! Too many rattles for any car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
My IS has been in the shop 5 times for a total of 7 squeaks and rattles. Very disappointed with the interior quality and having spent $38,000 for a car that ALWAYS has a rattle. Lexus rep Larry Lamberson told me that the rattles were normal and to deal with the "noise".
Lexus is having a lot of complaints regarding rattles and not being able to fix them because they will not "tear" into a car to fix a "noise" issue.
Both air vent rattle
rattles in the doors
rattle behind the rear seats
the thin plastic around the Nav/GPS pops and squeaks when ambient temperatures are 75F plus.
Moon roof rattles
rattle in middle of dash.
General comments?
The president of Toyota and a Toyoda family representative, bowed in public and apologized for poor quality. Toyota has also been investigated for hiding recalls in the past, no wonder the record "looked" great. when this happens, don't defend toyota, they are no better, in fact they are worse than any other company because of their blatant, proven dishonesty!
