"Great performance car IF you take care of it"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
6,000 miles - Had to perform recall because gas gauge was faulty. I ended up out of gas on the side of the road with a gauge that said 1/2 full. free.
Since the the car was 4 years old I have had to replace the headlights, brake and indicator lights twice. $7.00 each time (I did it myself)
45,000 miles - replaced all tires.
48,000 Mirror control broke off - $400.
General comments?
Great handling and smooth acceleration. I love the way this car drives. No comparable car with the same space or cost. A large car family wagon that feels like a luxury car. I love German engineering.
Very comfortable interior. I love the leather and wood grain dash.
Reliable if you take care or it. I always use high octane gas 91 or higher. Change oil religiously every 5000 miles.
I couldn't be happier.
