1993 Pontiac Grand Prix LE review from North America

"Get a different year Pontiac"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

The brakes would always wear out prematurely on this car. The mechanic told me that all GM 93 models, such as the Buick Regal, had a new braking system and didn't work out well. I had the car in the shop for brakes every 4 months, replaced the rotors twice because a rock cut a groove in them.

The sunroof motor wore out at 70,000 miles. I had to keep a screwdriver in the car so I could hit it to get it working again.

General comments?

If this car had a better drive train I never would have let it go. I was around 20 when I had this car, and it was a sharp looking ride. Dual exhaust tips, heads-up-display, steering wheel stereo controls, you name it. Basically this car was ordered as an LE, but had every available option on it. It was a sea-foam green color that looked great.
