1993 Plymouth Duster review from North America
"Buy a V6 5 spd and your going love it!!!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The only things wrong with the car when I got it was basic maintenance, (tune up, valve covers leaking, needed brakes) like I said just basic maintenance stuff. the car was painted by the previous owner which wasn't too bad of a job so it looks pretty good for the age and the interior is in good shape except for the headliner. basically everything that is/ was wrong with the car was normal for its age.
General comments?
The car surprises a lot of people with how quick it is for an econo box. I've surprised a few fox body 5.0 mustangs.
For such a small car it has a rather roomy interior. its easy to run in and out of traffic on the highway and in town.
My last car was a shadow with the V6 and a Manual trans. it had 240,000 very rough miles on it when it became so rusted that it really wasn't safe to drive, but the engine and trans got put into a spirit... yup he converted a spirit to a stick. my friends mom got the shadow new, then he had it and then I did. non of us are nice to cars at all.
I expect at least another easy 150k out of my duster based on how exceptionally clean the engine was when we replaced the valve cover gaskets.
