1990 Plymouth Voyager SE review from North America
"Will last forever"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Oil pan had a dent not allowing it to be drained when I first bought it. I made a new hole and it hasn't leaked.
Left window won't open.
Back right vent window won't open.
Radio a little wonky.
Alternator has just broken.
Hassle to work on.
~15MPG.
A/C broken.
General comments?
Runs great! Perfect first car.
Handles very gently and responsibly.
Very roomy inside.
Comfortable seats.
Won't die.
Brakes well, has locked a few times, but that was my braking and the very old tires.
This car runs great for the 6 months I've had it, no problems at all, at first it would shutdown at idle, but I replaced the spark plugs and it has never shut down on me once.
I'm impressed how a vehicle older than me, runs so well. It has 188,000 miles and still runs, I drive it hard as well, averaging 70 on the highway and sometimes reaching speeds up to 95. I refuse to take it higher. Perfect!
