1985 Daihatsu Charade review from Mauritius
"Solid economical and reliable"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing has gone wrong.. but because of its age I am changing the clutch disc - full servicing.
It has a fair amount of rust on it so that has to be sorted..
General comments?
I needed an economy mobile because the cost of running a 325i was getting to me.. purchased this car for peanuts and have clocked up 1200 miles in 2 months!! Astonishing. this little car goes and goes and goes.
The lack of power is a let down - but I have fallen in love with it so instead of trying to kill it, its going in for a full body and paint job.
