1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited review from North America
"Amazing driving experience, but is it worth all the problems that it has"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Transmission is going bad, slipping constantly and was already replaced... idles really rough, coolant sensor keeps going bad, odometer and spedomeeter doesn't work for minutes at a time, so you have no idea how fast you are going for minutes at a time... trunk lock stopped working and can't open it at the moment. security system went bad. spent 900 dollars for dealer and 2 auto shops to guess what was wrong and fix the wrong thing costing hundreds... windows sometimes don't open.. as well as locks, battery keeps going bad, lots of electrical issues.
General comments?
The most amazing driving experience. very comfortable, amazing seats, heating, beautiful interior, roomy, great sound system... great handling, terrible gas mileage. I love driving this car, you feel invincible, but the problem is that it only works about 1/2 of the year. it has so many problems, that you spend 1000s fixing it constantly because of all the strange little problems (that no other car has) keeps pooping up. just have a 2nd car as a back up, or a nice girlfriend or boyfriend that can drive you around 2 days out of the week, and you will be OK.
