2006 Peugeot 107 Urban review from UK and Ireland
"Stylish, reliable, economical and safe; a fantastic car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
A slight rattle from the boot lid after about 100 miles, fixed under warranty.
Apart from that, it has been a faultless vehicle, absolutely superb.
General comments?
I have been a fan of this car since it came out in 2005, and when the time came for me to buy a new car, economy was at the top of my list.
I went to road test the 107 and didn't bother driving anything else. I ordered one and I picked it up on a new 06 plate on 01/03/2006.
I have done 15000 trouble free miles in it, with fairly regular commutes to Wales (700 mile round trip) in comfort, and I feel relaxed when I arrive.
Its little 1.0 litre engine is revvy and frugal, it doesn't do less than 50mpg and even 70mpg on a long run, and with road tax at £35 a year you can't go wrong.
It has standard electric windows, power steering, iPod socket in the CD player, ABS, 4 airbags and a 4 star NCAP rating.
I would recommend this car to anyone, and it's truly the best car I have ever owned.
