2005 Hyundai Sonata review from North America
"Love the car, just a little disappointed"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The clutch went out.
General comments?
I fell in love with the 06 Sonata the first time I saw it!! We went into the dealership, which the people there were very nice. We purchased the car along with the 100,000 mile power-train warranty. I've taken drove the car from okc to georgia several times with no problems. Here recently I was coming home from work and all of a sudden the car wouldn't go into gear. My husband was shocked that I even made it home!! That was 4 weeks ago. We took it to the dealership and they told us bc the clutch went out after 12000 miles it wasnt covered by the warranty. They have ordered several clutch kits which none fit. So they told me that clutch kits for the 06 Sonata are on back order and none are available at this time. They said it will probably be another 3 weeks. So I've been renting a car, another $45 a day, on top of the $1350 for the clutch. Any suggestions?
