2000 Chevrolet Blazer S-10 review from North America

I have a 2000 Chevy S-10 Blazer. I've owned the Blazer for about a year or two. These are my problems:

Bought the car with 58,000 miles.

Both front door hinges needed to be replaced on both sides, and the sensor for the auto headlights was bad.

The A/C also needed fixing, so the dealer took care of all the problems before I signed the papers.

Right after I got the Blazer, the fuel sending unit stopped working, which the dealer fixed free of charge to me.

Then around 62k miles, the intake gasket started leaking and needed to be replaced; this I fixed myself for around $100.

Around 70k-75k miles I had the transmission rebuilt; that cost me $1,800.

Around 83,000 miles I replaced the leaky heater core; that cost me $130 for the parts and 12 hours of my time to replace it; this was bad timing because the next day I was going to take it on a long trip.

Now at 88,000 miles, I have replaced both upper and lower ball joints on both the left and right side; this fix cost me around $200. Also at this mileage, I replaced the air pump, which was $130.

Other problems; my roof rack was peeling.

Last Blazer for me.

I love to drive the Blazer when I'm not fixing it, but lately doesn't seem like I'm driving it very much. It will be the last time I buy a Blazer, and trust me, I will look up more about the next car before I buy it.

All these problems; I had every one. Something keeps telling me that is a common problem with the Blazer.
