2002 Subaru Loyale 4WD review from North America
"Great car for the money"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The window washers don't work. The The motor for the fron one has ailed and the rear one's nozzle clogged up.
It's had the usual routine maintenace- valve cover gaskets, muffler, timing belt, water pump etc. Nothing out of the ordinary.
General comments?
Likeable old thing. Homely, a little overweight and wheezy, but essentially reliable and good natured, my Loyale is indeed just that-loyal. The 4WD is unbelievable. This car feels well made and parts are readily available and inexpensive. Tons of room. Takes awhile to pick up speed, but once it gets going, it toodles right along. It's, in the way that Gremlins and Pacers are, a cool car.
