1973 Mercedes-Benz SL 450 review from North America
"Fun summer time car!!!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
A/c not working - now repaired.
Heater either on or off - slide adjusters makes no difference.
Restarting warm engine tends to stall, but goes well after a few minutes of pampering.
General comments?
California car is in mint/original condition after 35 yrs.
Cruises well at high speeds (85+mph). Excellant high end torque. Feels safe to pass at high speeds.
Handles very well on twisty roads. Feels comfortable.
Looks great standing still. Turns heads & thumbs-up from other drivers.
