1996 Chrysler Sebring Convertible review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Wow.. what things have gone wrong with this car??? Well as I read on one particular comment made in January, I thought it was me that actually wrote it.
I also have 97 Sebring Convertible JXI. Let me just say, The top leaks on the driver side, and I had recently had it replaced, AND it STILL leaks.
The horn is barely even a chirp, when I blow it no one even looks because it cannot be heard!
I too have had transmission trouble, the odometer light works when and IF it feels like it, the A/C, AND heater have both just quit working within a week apart, and it squeaks while driving, even louder when turning.
Not to also mention as I read before about the speaker covers in the doors; yes I too have holes in them from trying to get out the car. The speakers in the dash has also blown.
I cannot even begin the detail of the engine work that I have put into this car.
OH yeah... the motor for the power windows are going out.
The door panel is starting to separate from the actual door!!
As can be seen, I could go on for some time, so thanks for allowing my input.
General comments?
Stay away from Chrysler... and as soon as I am able, NEW car here I come!!
Wish me luck!!
