1997 Mazda 323 GXI review from UK and Ireland

General comments?
I have only had this car for just over a week and am already in love.
It has been very well looked after for a 10+ year old car
having only covered 40000 miles and been serviced regularly.
It drives superbly. Very easy clutch/gear change. Responsive car light and easy to handle. Quite nippy even
though only a 1.5 engine.
Covered about 300 miles so far and used about 2/3 of a tank of fuel so I would say it gets about 45/50 mpg.
Roomy and comfortable to drive... however a bit of a squeeze for 3 kids in the back... never mind they can travel in dads car and drop all their litter in there!!
Good looking sporty little motor with cheap insurance (for careful lady driver)
If I had to find a slight downside it would be that with the height of the back of the car coupled with rear head rests and rear spoiler across back window, I find visibility restricted slightly when reversing, but then I'm used to driving an estate with loads of windows.
