1995 Jeep Cherokee review from North America
"Nice truck but caused a lot of trouble"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
A/C unit at 60,000 miles (2 weeks after I bought the truck).
Transmission, transmission gasket and battery at 61,000 (1 month later).
Oil pan, and head gaskets at 81,000.
Intake manifold at 82,000.
Speed sensor at 84,000.
All 4 rotors and pads and 4 new tires at 85,000.
Battery again at 86,000.
Transmission and engine blew at 88,000.
The paint chipped and looked very ugly at the end.
General comments?
My Cherokee rode nicely and was comfortable. It had a lot of space and had good power at all speeds, but made me blow a lot of money on repairs and gas. The gas mileage was only 12 city and 16 highway.
The bottom line: I was very unhappy with this jeep, and with chrysler, and I don't think I should buy another chrysler vehicle ever again.
