2000 GMC Yukon Denali review from Lebanon
"GMC knows about off roaders"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Braking, braking and braking.. It took me 8 months to sort the braking out.. New front discs, pads, rear drums, shoes and 2 new front ABS sensors.. Now it works.
New belt tensioner as the old one and the belt were squeaking.
4 new De carbon shocks and an add-a-leaf on the rear.
ALL else is perfect, just change oil and filters regularly and go..
Oh, forgot this one.. The light on the 4x4 panel kept disappearing and coming back, but now it's on all the time. Fixed itself..Dirt on the actuator I guess..
General comments?
I had a 2004 Nissan Patrol 4.8 VTEC.. latest generation and brand new.. I can tell you that the 7 year old GMC is a better car..It's safe, powerfull, reliable and carries loads without complaints..
The Denali has all the luxury you want, a great Bose sound system,2 A/C's, and can carry all your household.
What more do you need for your family?
At 140K miles it feels hardly run in and as new and can easily cruise at a 100mph all day.
