1984 Nissan 720 Pickup review from North America
"Reliable tough vehicle. Little expense over the years"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I have replaced the transmission once.
Just replaced the exhaust manifold at 390,000 miles.
Replaced the heater core at about 389,000 miles.
This truck is virtually indestructible. It is my daily driver because it runs when everything else is broke down.
We deer hunt with, 4x4, gold mine, and the poor thing towed our new 17ft boat home because our other truck was down when the dealer needed it picked up. It has been through a teenager and countless drivers.
The only quirky thing is the relay by the passenger door has gone out before; took a month and many people to figure out what it was. Three dollar part... problem solved!
Great tough truck; always makes me feel comfortable in bad snow to drive back and forth to work safely.
General comments?
I am tall and the truck is not built for tall people; the interior is small but it works.
