1987 Porsche 944 944S review from North America
"A very fun car, but id like to add some power"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Minor rock chips and dings to the body. replaced a belt roller. seal treatment needed. a spark plug.
That's all I have replaced so far but I'm replacing belts soon.
General comments?
I bought the car ''running, but rough''.when I went to look at it the car started fine but ran poor and smoked. I purchased it for an amazing deal and trailered it home. I replaced a spark plug wire, a belt roller, and changed the oil and added some seal treatment and the car ran fine.
I'm very happy with the car as is my family who are all porsche enthusiast. the car handles amazing, a very smooth ride for a sports car and really just a fun car to drive.
Now I know my car is no turbo but does anyone know of anyways I could add to the performance? I know I a lot of ppl will tell me I need to just buy a 951 and I would like to but even if I do finaly buy one this car will stay in the family so I would like to do what I can to it. any help would be greatly appriciated.
That being said I would highly recommend the car. definently an under rated car.
