2003 Kia Sedona EX review from North America

2 weeks after driving off the lot, serious vibration in the front end rotors were warped, $300 to fix.

6,000 miles later rotors created vibration again. Now calipers needed to be replaced $500 job.

2 weeks later A/C compressor blew a seal $600 dollar job.

Accessory plug would blow fuse every time warranty repaired.

A/C weep hole would not drain causing strong ammonia smell.

They do not offer a repair manual. Most parts must be ordered at a high priced from the manufacturer. Estimate to have spark plugs to be replaced after warranty $250. Top of motor must be removed. Calipers for front end almost $200 each. 17 mpg hurts the pocket. Part prices through manufacturer are outrageous!

If you buy this vehicle you should purchase the extended warranty or plan on an average of $150 a month for repairs. Repairs may come once every three months but they will average you $500 per repair. Another suggestion to you will be invest in the $100 in AAA. I made a big mistake by trying to save a couple thousand dollars but at this point I could have bought a Honda and had no problems.

If I could afford it I would spray paint on the side of the van "KIA" but I would turn the I into an R and add a P after the A and burn it in the front of the KIA dealership. Good luck your gonna need it.
