2008 Hyundai Sonata Limited review from North America

The car did have a few accessories as it said on the factory sticker.

At first I was not happy when I heard it had electronic stability control (ESC) and traction control system (TCS), but I got that feeling from someone else that does not like both having those features. However to me they have proven to be the best features you could have on a car. The ESC and TCS are very responsive when they are needed. They eliminate all my complaints about the handling. The 4 cylinder engine has just enough refinement and pickup as my previous 2003 v6 sonata and the gas mileage is just a little better not by much than the v6.

The handling and steering are excellent and perfectly weighted. Harder to maneuver at high speeds but very easy at low speeds.

Wind an road noise are well controlled and you can barely hear the engine when you cruising.

Hyundai should consider remodel all their engines for better fuel economy being I'm only getting 24mpg average on the 4 cylinder and I got 22 mpg average on the v6.

The leather seats are the best, they are supportive and comfortable. The quality is very good.

The sunroof and moonroof should be standard on the limited but its not so we did not get it.

The 6 speaker stereo is very good on this car. So much better then my last sonata however it should come standard with a 6 disc CD changer on the limited model.

The ESC and TCS work even better in wet weather conditions especially going up and down hills. The 4 cylinder engine doesn't have to work hard getting up any hill which I was shocked. It must have the perfect transmission for this car.
