1989 Mitsubishi Mighty Max review from North America

When the gas filter gets dirty, it only keeps the truck at low speeds and stalls out, but I had the truck for 19 years and only had to replace it twice.

When the brakes get dirty they squeak very loud, and at times cleaning would help.

The regular steering is very hard and makes very loud noises at times.

Pain in the neck to parallel park.

2 years ago I had to replace the ignition at 220,000 miles. One day it just wouldn't start, had no warning.

Going up hilly roads when its loaded makes it sluggish, so I just stay in the right lane.

Cleaning this truck is ridiculous.

Had to get a new muffler twice on this truck.

I don't really think of this as a problem, but I only needed new tires and brakes once, and the brakes and tires are still in good shape.

I had the truck since 1989, and it's still like a new truck! With all the service done by professional Mitsubishi specialists at my dealer, it has worked so well and still works so well. I spend very little on service and gas being it's only a 4 cylinder.

Its always been well reliable.

We get a lot of rain and heat in this area, but the paint still holds up well after all these years it still has no rust.

The inside still looks brand new with only one little rip in the seat, which I can probably easily fix.

The air conditioner is amazing, I'm cool within seconds and it really gets hot down here in Alabama.

Windows are a little hard to open but I'm fine with it.

Its comfortable for anyone under 6ft.

Despite with cap on the truck, the visibility is still perfect.

I haul a lot of heavy loads, and it can still easily get from 0 right to 50mph.

I really love this truck. I was kind of sorry that I didn't get bigger truck at first, but that's OK, this truck turned out to be just fine.
