1999 Chrysler Concorde LXi review from North America
"I like it!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Had to replace battery at 69,000 miles. It was the original.
General comments?
This is a very comfortable car suited primarily to highway cruising. It doesn't particularly like cold weather, judging by the fuel economy. In summer, I get 30-32 mpg running 70 mph. Winter, more like 25. Still not bad considering I hear people bragging about their Hondas getting 28. And that 3.2 has a fair bit of poke off the line! I've had more than one backward baseball hat wearer give me a surprised look. The paint on the windshield trim is peeling off now. I haven't yet decided if I will sand off the rest and leave it a matte aluminum finish or continue on and repaint it with spray paint.
