1999 GMC Jimmy review from North America

My gas lines have been replaced two times since I bought it.

My driver door sticks as well as the window.

My fuel pump has gone bad twice.

My wheel hub assembly has been replaced.

My transmission has been rebuilt.

My battery has been replaced.

My oxygen sensor is bad.

I have another gas leak in the rear of the car.

I purchased my car from a used car dealer in October of 2006 with 140,000 miles on it.

In the Spring of 2007 I had to replace two gas lines in the front of my car because of a major gas leak. The battery was replaced shortly thereafter.

In the Summer of 2007 I replaced the fuel pump, put brakes and rotors in the front and the back of my vehicle. Not to mention that the door sticks and the window sometimes want roll up or down on the driver side.

By the beginning of of this new year, I have replaced the wheel hub assembly. I also went in for an oil change and tune-up, and lo and behold the transmission went out. The Jeep stopped going in reverse.

I've since re-built the transmission in March of 2008 and now I need an Oxygen Sensor and I have another gas leak in the rear of my car. I am a single parent with three children, of which I have to pick up for track practice, school, and transport back forth on a regular basis. I work over thirty miles from my home and I need my car to get back and forth to a full time job, as well as a part time job. I just want to know if there has been any recalls or defects in the manufacturing of the car initially. I owe more on the car than what is currently worth right now. I don't know about anybody else, but right now if something else goes wrong with this jeep I'm going to be bankrupt. At this rate I will spend just as much on repairs for the car as the initial price of the car when it was purchased. I am at my wits end and I needed to vent.
