2002 Saturn L300 review from North America

"This car is amazing and should be considered for a test drive"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Had to have the timing belt replaced. A local mechanic was not familiar with the design of the engine, and so the belt was not replaced properly. A great deal of damage was done to the lifters and valves, and this was expensive to have fixed; I would advise anyone with this model to have the timing belt replaced by a Saturn dealership.

Have to refill coolant pretty often;

General comments?

The 3.0L engine is amazing. This is a powerful engine that allows 182hp. The car accelerates quickly, and makes interstate driving a breeze.

The sound system is amazing.

The moon roof is a joy; it is easy to open without taking your eyes off the road;

The side air bags make me feel very safe and secure. This car has excellent crash test safety ratings.

The car gets excellent gas mileage.

The amount of space is pretty awesome. The trunk is massive!
