2002 Citroen C3 SX review from UK and Ireland
"Reliable underdog"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Coil pack and a fuel injector blew after heavy rain, due to rain leaking through the drivers side washer jet, a common problem which I read a review on, but did not prevent. I just left it, all you have to do is silicone seal around the washer jet on the underside of the bonnet and it will save you around £60 for a coil pack and £30 for a fuel injector plus fitting.
Power steering has failed a few times, but all I have done is turn the ignition off, wait 10 seconds, start the engine again, and there is no problem.
ABS sometimes works when it should not, but not that often, so I have just lived with it.
General comments?
Quite nippy for a 1.4 petrol since my last car was a 2.5 V6.
Not very luxurious on the inside, but it gets me from A to B.
Can be a bit harsh and bumpy over pot holes, feels like someone is hammering the steering wheel, but had no problems with suspension, wheels or steering.
Not much room in boot especially for a pram as I have just found out.
