2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer XT review from North America
"Pretty GOod"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I had a ticking noise, my auto repair shop told me that Chevrolet could reflash something, that the fan clutch and the computer were in mesh. I called the Chevy dealer and they said the reflashing doesn't work, and recommended replacing the fan clutch.
So like a sucker I had them replace the fan clutch at the cost of almost $800. Now, we get the roaring noise, not ever time we drive the car, but the jet engine roaring noise is annoying I spoke to the Chevrolet dealer and he said that is normal. I am upset about a fix the dealer said would fix the ticking noise, which the new fan clutch did, but the roaring is worse than the ticking noise.
Also, we had to have a extra heat pump installed in the second set of seats because we couldnt get heat in the rear seats.
General comments?
Rides very well, good on gasoline, and pretty maintance free except for this fan clutch issue.
